My first source is from KidsHealth about cyberbullying.  Explains what is cyberbullying, that it is use of technology to harass the other person.  Severe, long-term, or frequent cyberbullying can leave both victims and bullies at greater risk for anxiety, depression, and other stress-related disorders. That they get picked on hours a day.  The different signs to look out for if your child is being cyberbullied.   Like not wanting to go to school, withdrawn from family and friends, and wanting to stop using the computer and their cell phone.

My second source is Cyberbulllying Research Center.  It talks to the parent and students.  Even to educators to talk too.  It also has stories you can read about others going through this.  You can also add your own story to the site.  There are different articles to read, crossword puzzles, and also talks about sexting.  Cyberbullying Scripts for Parents to Promote Dialog and Discussion and other good information.

My third source is stopbullying.gov.  this one is about the same as the first one, also talks about bullying too.  What its about, who is at risk, preventing bullying, ways to respond to the bullying and how to get help.  I think just about all the website I came across have the same information.

My fourth source is from Anti-Bullying Training.  Welcome To The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Campaign!  It talks about a support system that will help you.  About the different types of bullying and cyberbullying, how this can you you know the different situations and what someone else is going through.  Tips on how to deal with the issues that are happening to you. How to support your child who is being bullied and if you tell a teacher.  If you are struggling with self-esteem issuses because you are being bullied.

Tips on how to protect yourself on cyberbullying.  Make sure you have your privacy settings set on Facebook, social media, so that only people that is your friend can see what you want them to see. ALWAYS think before you post anything about yourself and keep personal information personal.  To fight educate yourself, educate others, and speak out if you want.


Tips to Help Stop Cyberbullying

For kids and teens; it is NEVER your fault you are getting bullied, don't respond or retaliate because they will think it gives them the power over you, save the evidence (connectSafely.org/cyberbullying) will help and show you how to capture screen or computer.  Keep an eye on you child to see if they can resolve the problem on their own, but make sure he/she are making good choices.
