I chose to do cyberbullying/bullying because of my two
boys. As I have said before a few times
my boys are getting bullied. But for my
oldest it went from bullying to cyberbullying and the student didn’t get into
that much trouble for it. I still have the
emails that the student sent him. The
student only got suspended for ten-fifteen days for what he did. I think it might have been a little longer
because it was right before Christmas break.
Which I didn’t think was right, but the student was removed from all the
class he had with my son and is not allowed to have any contact with him at all
or he will be expelled from the school and but into juvenile detention until he
is eighteen.
This all started in fourth grade with my oldest with this
student and continued on. The fifth
grade teacher finally helped me with it and when my son went the sixth grade
the student wasn’t there so we thought it was all done and over with. But half way through sixth grade the student
came back and picked up right where he left off. And then in seventh grade the student went to
cyberbullying. I finally had enough and
took it to one of my son teachers and then to the principle and they both helped. Hopefully it is done for good this time.
Yes this is something really close to the heart because the student sent my son to the hospital three time throughout this whole ordeal.
